Commercial Painter - Birch

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Heywood, Greater Manchester

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – 7:30am to 4.00pm, with an unpaid lunch break of half an hour. Overtime available when required.

 

Salary: Dependant on experience.

Within the Falcon Group is Falcon Tower Crane Services, the largest tower crane supplier in the UK and one of the largest in the world with just under 450 tower cranes nationwide. Falcon Power Generation with 400 generators nationwide along with Falcon Freight who operate a fleet of 32 HGV vehicles with a selection of units supporting artic and rigid HIAB cranes.

Due to the continued expansion within the Group, Falcon Tower Crane Services are seeking to recruit a Commercial Painter to join our Shot Blast and Painting Team.

 

Responsibilities – Commercial Painter:

Painting of our fleet of tower cranes and external works which include but are not limited to, pumps, containers, vehicles and crane ancillary equipment.

 

Qualifications - Commercial Painter:

ICORR Certification in Bronze and Silver Paint or NACE equivalent.
Experience in commercial painting.
Experience with conventional and Airless Spray Equipment.
The ability to use single pack/multi component materials.
The ability to read and follow a technical data sheet.
The ability to straighten and repair body work would be useful but not essential.
Good knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace.
